Premier League Aston Villa Football Club and Kappa jointly launched the team's new second away jersey for the 2020/21 season. The new jersey pays tribute to the city of Birmingham where the club is located through a unique jersey pattern, and demonstrates Aston Villa's important position in the city's football map.
Aston Villa’s second away jersey of the new season is based on white. The jersey adds a lime-grey camouflage pattern composed of the Birmingham city map where the club is located, showing the inseparable relationship between the team and the city. The simple V-neck uses a unique design of navy blue and fluorescent yellow, which makes a deep impression. Whether it is a fan version or a player version, the exquisite and textured silicone club badges are added to the chest, and the club’s iconic lion pattern proudly appears under the collar on the back.
The new jersey is paired with navy blue ball pants and white ball socks. The seams on both sides of the ball pants show bright fluorescent yellow details. The tibia of the ball socks is added with a lion pattern derived from the club emblem.
The player version of Aston Villa's second away jersey in the new season is still based on Kappa's well-known KOMBAT™PRO jersey. The personal tailored jersey allows players to move more freely and show their fit. Fabrics equipped with Kombat Pro System technology have outstanding performance in weight, elasticity, breathability and comfort. The external seam design effectively reduces the discomfort caused by friction on the skin.
This new jersey has been officially unveiled in the new season's League Cup, which ends early this morning, Beijing time.
